NDM, News Delivery Manager

NDM News Delivery Manager is developed in Java on the server and J2ME on mobile client side. Servers side middleware part of solution is connected to the existing news source for example 3rd party sources like Financial Times or Reuters and is parsed in smaller parts which are transferred to the mobile user of the NDM.

Users have 2 different ways of reading the news or information on their phones:

    - Online Reading

By reading news online users is browsing across different categories and is only downloading interesting news that really want to read. This way offers users to transfer interesting material and not to transfer non interesting new.

    - Offline Reading

Offline reading is meant for the people which are in hurry and just have a time to read the news at specific time or have a limited access to mobile network. In this case user selects the interesting categories like Stock Exchange Reports, Personal Finance, etc. and related news are downloaded to the phone. Suche news can be read offline without using the network.

NDM also supports images and sound notification for new news on the server.
